prvi dan u novoj godini/ new year's day



Danas pravim salatu, od avokada, buđavog sira, narandže, kuvanih jaja i baby mix salate. Za neke je udobnost da iznova jedu ukuse na koje su navikli, a meni prija kada se neplanski dese mala, prijatna iznenadjena kao što je ova nova salata. Nova salata je kremastog i mekog ukusa, nenametljiva i opuštajuća, ipak ni malo dosadna, umereno uzbudljiva, takoreći idealna za prvi dan nove godine. 
I sad kada smo je detaljno opisali možemo i da je napravimo, i to za deset minuta, a ako već imamo unapred skuvano jaje onda i za tri minute.

Nova salata
za jednu osobu
1 avokado, mali
1 pomorandža, mala
1 jaje
40g baby mix salate (rukola, matovilac, baby listovi repe, baby spanać, baby crvena i zelena batavija)
30g buđavog sira
prstohvat morske soli
5-6 zrna crvenog bibera
2-3 kašičice maslinovog ulja

Jaje kuvati u ljusci, sedam minuta, ohladiti pod mlazom hladne vode, oguliti ljusku i iseći na kolutove. Avokado prerezati po dužini, izvaditi košticu i kašikom izdubiti sredinu. Iseći meso avokada na kockice, dodati prstohvat soli i malo maslinovog ulja. Narandžu dobro oprati i oštrim nožem odrezati koru zajedno sa belim delom kore i 'isfiletirati'. Ostatak isfiletirane narandže iscediti i tim sokom začiniti avokado. Baby mix poredjati na tanjir, posuti avokado po salati, dodati filete narandže, izmrviti buđavi sir, dodati kolutove jaja i za kraj izmrviti crveni biber. Voilà!


Today I make salad, avocado, blue cheese, orange, boiled egg and baby salad leaves. Some find comfort in eating familiar flavors repeatedly, I like when little surprise hits unplanned, like this new salad. This salad is soft and creamy, discreet and relaxing in its taste, but not a bit dull, it's moderately exciting, I would dare to say perfect for new year's day. 
And now when it's been described in details let's make it, it takes ten minutes, or if you already have boiled egg it will take just three.

New salad
serves one
one small avocado
one small orange
one egg
40g baby salad leaves (arugula, baby spinach, baby green and red batavia leaves, corn salad leaves)


30g blue cheese
pinch of salt

2-3tsp olive oil
5-6 red peppercorns

Cook the egg in a pot of a boiling water for seven minutes, then cool in a cold water to stop the egg from further cooking. Peel and slice the egg. Cut avocado lengthwise, remove the stone, and spoon the flesh out. Cut the flesh into cubes and season with salt and olive oil. Wash the orange and using a sharp knife
cut a slice off the top and bottom and then slice off the skin vertically removing all pith. Slice files of oranges and use a juice to season the avocado. Arrange baby salad leaves on a plate, add avocado onto the salad, season the leaves with all the juices from the avocado, arrange orange fillets, and egg slices on top and add crumbled blue cheese and slightly crushed red peppercorns. Voila!
