pečeni kolač sa jagodama/ strawberry pound cake


Na kiši se raste ali i truli, pa je sezona domaćih jagoda već pri kraju. Još uvek se mogu naći po marketima. Ukoliko ne nadjete jagode možete ih zameniti borovnicama.
Ovo je jednostavan recept čija priprema umiruje a rezultat usrećuje. Pravi se od namirnica koje većina vas već ima kod kuće. Ne zahteva posebne veštine, ali traži malo pažnje. Nakon samo jednog sata iz pećnice izlazi sundjerasto prozračni patišpanj ispunjen mirisnim voćem. Služi se mlak uz dodatak umućene slatke pavlake, po želji. Savršeno paše uz šolju čaja i kišno popodne, ali i uz hladno mleko ili jogurt umesto doručka. Isto nema ništa protiv da ga tamanite zavaljeni sedeći u ležaljci dok vas prži sunce.

Rain makes things grow but also rot, so the season of home-grown strawberries here is coming to an end. They can still be found in some supermarkets. If you can't find strawberries, you can replace them with blueberries.
This is a simple recipe to make, it makes you calm while preparing and final result gives you happiness. It is made from ingredients that most of us already have at home. It does not require special skills, but it does require a little care. After only one hour, right out of the oven comes a spongy airy dough filled with fragrant fruit. Serve lukewarm with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired. It matches perfectly with a cup of tea and a rainy afternoon, but also with a glass of cold milk or runny yogurt as a breakfast. The truth is, this particular cake doesn't mind to be guzzled while lolling in a deck chair on a hot day.


Pečeni Kolač sa Jagodama/ Strawberry Pound Cake


Za kolač je potrebno:
2 jaja, L veličina (63-73g)
80ml ulja od suncokreta
80ml mleka
230g belog brašna, meko brašno tip 400
110g šećera
80g braon šećera
6g praška za pecivo (pola kesice)
400-450g jagoda, očišćene i isečene na polovine ili četvrtine ukoliko su krupne

papir za pečenje
kalup veličine 27x8x8 cm

Rernu zagrejati na 180 stepeni. U većoj posudi umutiti penasto jaja i šećer. Postepeno dodati ulje u tankom mlazu i mutiti sve vreme. Dodati brašno, prašak za pecivo i mleko i sve lagano promešati da se dobije glatka smesa. Kalup obložiti papirom za pečenje i izliti smesu u obložen kalup. Jagode pozabadati u testo, testo treba da je gusto ispunjeno voćem. Kolač se peče u zagrejanoj rerni oko 60min. Za to vreme treba da naraste i dobro porumeni. Probati da li je testo pečeno nakon 45min. Kada je kolač gotov, izvaditi ga iz rerne i nakon desetak minuta izvaditi ga iz kalupa i ostaviti da se prohladi.

For the cake you will need:
2 eggs, large (63-73g)
80ml vegetable oil (sunflour oil)
80ml milk
230g all purpose flour
110g sugar
80g brown sugar
6g baking powder
400-450g fresh strawberries, trimmed and cut into halves or quarters if they are large

baking sheet
mold size 27x8x8 cm/ loaf tin

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until creamy. Gradually add the oil in a thin stream and stir all the time. Add flour, baking powder and milk and mix everything  to get a smooth mixture. Line the mold with baking paper and pour the mixture into a lined mold. Put strawberries in the dough, the dough should be thickly filled with fruit. The cake is baked in a preheated oven for about 60 minutes. During this time it should rise and get golden color on top. Test whether the dough is baked after 45 minutes (
toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean). When the cake is done, take it out of the oven and after ten minutes take it out of the mold and leave it to cool slightly.

prvi dan u novoj godini/ new year's day



Danas pravim salatu, od avokada, buđavog sira, narandže, kuvanih jaja i baby mix salate. Za neke je udobnost da iznova jedu ukuse na koje su navikli, a meni prija kada se neplanski dese mala, prijatna iznenadjena kao što je ova nova salata. Nova salata je kremastog i mekog ukusa, nenametljiva i opuštajuća, ipak ni malo dosadna, umereno uzbudljiva, takoreći idealna za prvi dan nove godine. 
I sad kada smo je detaljno opisali možemo i da je napravimo, i to za deset minuta, a ako već imamo unapred skuvano jaje onda i za tri minute.

Nova salata
za jednu osobu
1 avokado, mali
1 pomorandža, mala
1 jaje
40g baby mix salate (rukola, matovilac, baby listovi repe, baby spanać, baby crvena i zelena batavija)
30g buđavog sira
prstohvat morske soli
5-6 zrna crvenog bibera
2-3 kašičice maslinovog ulja

Jaje kuvati u ljusci, sedam minuta, ohladiti pod mlazom hladne vode, oguliti ljusku i iseći na kolutove. Avokado prerezati po dužini, izvaditi košticu i kašikom izdubiti sredinu. Iseći meso avokada na kockice, dodati prstohvat soli i malo maslinovog ulja. Narandžu dobro oprati i oštrim nožem odrezati koru zajedno sa belim delom kore i 'isfiletirati'. Ostatak isfiletirane narandže iscediti i tim sokom začiniti avokado. Baby mix poredjati na tanjir, posuti avokado po salati, dodati filete narandže, izmrviti buđavi sir, dodati kolutove jaja i za kraj izmrviti crveni biber. Voilà!


Today I make salad, avocado, blue cheese, orange, boiled egg and baby salad leaves. Some find comfort in eating familiar flavors repeatedly, I like when little surprise hits unplanned, like this new salad. This salad is soft and creamy, discreet and relaxing in its taste, but not a bit dull, it's moderately exciting, I would dare to say perfect for new year's day. 
And now when it's been described in details let's make it, it takes ten minutes, or if you already have boiled egg it will take just three.

New salad
serves one
one small avocado
one small orange
one egg
40g baby salad leaves (arugula, baby spinach, baby green and red batavia leaves, corn salad leaves)


30g blue cheese
pinch of salt

2-3tsp olive oil
5-6 red peppercorns

Cook the egg in a pot of a boiling water for seven minutes, then cool in a cold water to stop the egg from further cooking. Peel and slice the egg. Cut avocado lengthwise, remove the stone, and spoon the flesh out. Cut the flesh into cubes and season with salt and olive oil. Wash the orange and using a sharp knife
cut a slice off the top and bottom and then slice off the skin vertically removing all pith. Slice files of oranges and use a juice to season the avocado. Arrange baby salad leaves on a plate, add avocado onto the salad, season the leaves with all the juices from the avocado, arrange orange fillets, and egg slices on top and add crumbled blue cheese and slightly crushed red peppercorns. Voila!
